My Tucson Wedding

As the sun sets on the end of the year, decade, and era at Saguaro Buttes, we would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.  We are looking forward with great excitement to the coming year with a wonderful sense of adventure, anticipation, and many positive changes in store.  If you have not been to Saguaro Buttes in a while, you will be very pleasantly surprised at all the exciting upgrades. This sunset picture was taken on December 30th, 2009 at Saguaro Buttes.

The beautiful display of  wedding gowns shown here along with their wedding photos is both historical and memorable. The gowns belong to Katrina Byre’s mother and grandmother. They leave their legacy as Katrina Byre marries Preston Moon tonight at Saguaro Buttes in Tucson, Arizona.

Wesley and Jennifer were married at Saguaro Buttes on December 19th by Pastor Dave Hallstrom. They met in 2000 at at a Sabino High school Graduation party.  They had friends and family that traveled from California, Florida, Texas and Connecticut to be a part of their wedding day.

One of the most touching times during the wedding reception and one of the most emotionally charged is during the Father-Daughter dance. Here are a few suggestions for songs.

Christopher and Christina were married at Saguaro Buttes on December 12 by Pastor David Hallstrom at 4;30 PM. They met at work over 6 years ago, and are planning a honeymoon in Hawaii.

The Garter Toss is a Tradition in American Weddings. Here are some suggestions concerning the Garter Toss. Try not using your teeth, it may go a little too far for some of your guests. But if you must, you must.  Please have the bride seated, and you may want to have the garter slide down from it’s usual place, to make it easier on the groom. Normally, the woman who catches the bouquet and the man who catches the garter are expected to share a dance together. Most of all, have fun.
