Outdoor Patio Reception

Arizona has some beautiful weather, and especially in the evening during the Spring and Fall. An outdoor reception may be the ticket for you. There are some challenges with having your reception outdoors, the first and for most is the weather. Most weddings book at least 6 months or more in advance, and it is difficult to predict the weather. It is important to have a “Plan B” in case of poor weather.  Having a tent in case of rain is one option. At Saguaro Buttes we also have indoor facilities close to the patio, with beautiful views that can be an option in case of  rain. Second, having some outdoor heaters available if it gets cold after sunset is also a must. In Arizona the temperatures can vary 30 to 40 degrees from daytime to nighttime. Lighting is another issue. When the sun goes down you must have some way to light the evening, but you don’t want harsh spotlights. Low level lighting, as pictures in the photo work well and is a nice option.  Music is also another consideration. It is a great option to have live music, either a solo artist or a trio. An Outdoor Patio Reception be very beautiful. Quinn and Andrew, pictured here, who live in Indiana, had a beautiful Patio reception with about 45 close family and friends at Saguaro Buttes on May 8th 2014.
