Our Wedding Coordinators

When choosing a venue that has an event coordinator there are several things that are important to look for, I call them the “Three C’s”- Chemistry, Competence, and Character.  First is Character, you want someone that is honest, has integrity and is dependable.  The sad reality of the human condition is that even in the wedding profession you have those that will promise one thing and deliver something different. It is important to check references and make sure that they are financially sound and will be in business tomorrow or at least until after your wedding date. Second, is Chemistry, you want to work with someone who you enjoy being around, that is pleasant to work with. You are going to spend a lot of time with this individual while planning your wedding, making calls, checking out details, and you want to work with someone you enjoy being around, that is pleasant to talk to. And thirdly, you want to work with someone who is Competent, who knows what they are doing, and has the experience you are looking for. At Saguaro Buttes, Cindy Hallstrom is our main Event Coordinator (pictured to the right). She has many years of planning, coordinating, and organizing events. She also has completed an extensive course with the “American Academy of Wedding Professionals” and has been certified by this academy. You will find her very pleasant to work with and one who has great integrity. Courtnay (pictured on the left) is our other wedding coordinator who has worked years in the wedding industry and has recently begun working at Saguaro Buttes. She has a background in business and has a very pleasant personality and honesty which you will find enjoyable to work with.
