Texas Rangers in Full Bloom

Texas Rangerp1060491.jpgThe Texas Rangers (Leucophyllum frutescens, the scientific name that I can not pronounce) are in full bloom with their purple flowers.  After the rains we have had over the last week they came to life. They add a lot of color to the landscape.  These pictures were taken on August 4th.
