Every little girl dreams of a beautiful wedding and little girls are usually very excited to be asked to be a flower girl. Here are a few suggestions to help prepare your daughter for being a flower girl. First, as soon as they are asked to be a flower girl let them know how special a part they are going to play in the wedding. Let them dress up and practice throwing flower petals. Have fun with it, make it a special time with your daughter. Second, Show them pictures or videos of other flowers girls in other weddings. Let them know that they will be dressed real pretty and will look like a princess. Third, Let them know that if they do a good job that the will get a gift. This helps during the rehearsals. Finally, on the day of the wedding, don’t let them take a nap right before the ceremony. (I made this mistake with one of mine, and they woke up very grumpy and didn’t want to go down the aisle.) But do make sure they are rested.
