November is a very popular month for weddings in Tucson as the weather is usually perfect, and we have a lot of beautiful sunsets in the Fall. December of course we are into the Holiday season, which can be to your advantage, as many couples will have family and friends in town for the Holidays and will coordinate this with their wedding date. Ceremony times will be earlier as the days are getting shorter, so expect a 4:00 to 5:00 pm start time.
Advantages:
- Family and friends may be in town for the Holidays and can make it easier to attend your wedding.
- Weather is beautiful and Sunsets are gorgeous.
- The colors and vegetation are optimal. Flowers are still in bloom in November.
- Don’t forget the tax breaks for getting married this year rather than next year.
- Great time for a destination wedding in Tucson.
Disadvantages
- Holiday season can be a busy time for some, especially in December.
- If you’re still in college you may have finals and term papers due around this time.
- Cooler weather in the evenings in December.
