The Recessional Music

RecessionalCongratulations! You’ve just been pronounced husband and wife and the guests are all on their feet, standing, clapping, and now it’s time for you to make your way triumphantly back down the aisle. It’s time for a little music and celebration. The recessional is often the loudest music played at a ceremony. The song played should reflect the personality and emotion of the occasion and it should be a time of great joy and celebration. The classic song is “Ode to Joy” by Beethoven, but many couples are using more modern songs to express their joy. Songs like the Beatles “All you Need is Love” to “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang, are used today. So give it some thought or ask the DJ if they have a suggestion, to spice up it up a little.
