After the social (cocktail) hour, your guests will be invited by the DJ to take their seats in the reception area. While the guests are being seated, the DJ will be getting the bridal party lined up, (at Saguaro Buttes it is usually in the Bridal Quarters). At Saguaro Buttes the DJ is in charge of making these introductions, in other locations it may be a different person. Here is a suggestion, when you compile a list of your bridal party names, you may want to write down something about each person so your guests will know why that person is special to you. Whether it is funny or sentimental, everyone will enjoy this personal touch. Introductions are usually performed in this order:
1. Grandparents
2. Parents of the bride
3. Parents of the groom
4. Flower Girl with Ring Bearer
5. Jr. Bridesmaid and Jr. Usher
6. Bridesmaids and Ushers
7. Maid or Matron of Honor and Best Man
8. The Bride and Groom
Choose two songs, one for the bridal party and one for the bride and groom.You may want to consider a song that is unique and personal, especially for the introduction of the bride and groom.
