Wedding Proposal Ideas

More people get engaged over the holiday season than any other time of the year. This is the season of guys proposing to their girlfriends. One of my favorite questions to ask engaged couples is “How did you Propose?”. I always enjoy listening to their stories, because each one is different. Having done hundreds of weddings I have run into some fun and interesting stories.

• One groom proposed in a hot air ballon, and when he got down on one knee, other people in the ballon thought he was getting sick and brought him a barf bag.
• Another proposed at a baseball game by having the proposal put on the scoreboard.
• Another one tattooed the proposal on his body, “he didn’t say where” and proposed by revealing the tattoo, (that takes some faith).
• Another one couldn’t find the spot he had earlier picked out so he pulled over in his car on the side of the road and proposed to his bride to be, she cried out “I can’t believe you proposed to me on the side of the road.”
• One groom I remember proposed at Saguaro Buttes and surprised everyone, he brought her out to look at the site and got down on one knee at the very spot that the wedding ceremonies usually take place. A year later they were married on the same spot.
