This photo was taken on February 10, 2012 as wedding guests were gathering for a wedding scheduled for 4:30 PM. The wedding actually began about 4:45 PM. This shows how the ceremony location is shaded by the reception building at Saguaro Buttes, which makes it comfortable during warm days to enjoy the outdoors without the heat and brightness of the sun. This changes some during different times of the year (Summer, Spring, etc.) but generally when people come to tour our property during the morning hours they don’t always realize that the ceremony location will be nicely shaded by ceremony time, as most weddings occur shortly before Sunset. (60 to 90 minutes before the official sunset.)
